Meet the founderS

Allison Trimble and Blake Westhoff

Blake and Allison met more than fifteen years ago and were fast friends brought together by their humor and love for horses. We both share a history of growing up riding our backyard horses in 4-H, mostly just trying not to get tossed in the process!”  Blake shares.

“For me, things started to shift when I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying Animal Science and AgriBusiness and began competing in NRCHA (National Reined Cow Horse Association) events, later moving to Washington state” Allison continues. “Years later, Blake began working alongside me as an assistant trainer and we hit the road riding, competing, and sharpening our horsemanship.”

“We’re admittedly both drawn towards the high-end show horses we compete with today,” Allison continues. “But ultimately, we share a deep love of all things equine. Horses have always been our safe place and we hold so much love for our "heart horses".

In 2016 after years working together, Blake and Allison decided to share the reins and create AB Real Estate to elevate the services they could offer clients. 

“We feel very fortunate to be able to compete at NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) and NRCHA events around the country while remaining top producers.” Blake adds.  “We’ve also learned in the years, the many challenges to buying and selling equestrian properties that most real estate professionals aren’t even aware of. Allison and I have hard-won experience, having seen many of the things that can go wrong with horse properties and hobby farms when they’re not managed by someone with expertise in equine.”  

The Equestrian Real Estate Academy and the EquiAgent designation is designed to “tip our hats” to the equestrian property agents who have come before us and give a leg up to the agents who dream of becoming one.

Meet the founderS

Allison Trimble and Blake Westhoff

Blake met Allison more than fifteen years ago now. He was 19 at the time and although he’d raised and owned horses, Blake hadn’t been exposed to the professional horse industry. Fortunately, Allison was looking for someone to clean the stalls, and that he could do…

“We both share a history of growing up riding and packing with our Dads in the backcountry (trying not to get tossed from mostly unbroke horses & ponies!)”  Allison shares.

“I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo riding in their Quarter Horse Project and started competing in NRCHA (National Reined Cow Horse Association) events in 2000, the same year I moved to Washington state.”

Over the years, Allison showed Blake the ropes (literally) and he quickly fell in love with it and found a passion for competing…

Soon, he was finding success in the limited open cow horse and later transitioned to competing in NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) events.

“We’re admittedly both drawn towards the high end show horses we compete with today,” Allison continues. “But ultimately we share a deep love of all things equine. Horses have always been our safe place and we hold so much love for our "heart horses".”

Finally, in 2016 after years working together, Blake and Allison decided to share the reins and create AB Real Estate to elevate the services they could offer clients.
